The Rio Olympics may be over, but the enchantment that is Brazil continues in its beautiful beaches, rhythmical dances, scenic parks and waterfalls, and the iconic Cristo Redentor.  The spectacular Iguazú National Park adventure includes exploration by jeep, foot, and boat to witness the almighty Iguazú falls.  Students complete their South American adventure crossing over to Argentina and Devil’s Throat, dropping over 260 feet into a cloud of mist.

  • Arrive in Rio de Janeiro- Meet tour director
  • Take a guided tour of Rio de Janeiro:
    • Catedral Metropolitana
    • Pyramid Fountain
    • Paço Imperial
    • São Bento Monastery
  • Lunch
  • Participate in a cable car ride up Sugar Loaf Mountain
  • Dinner
  • Hotel check-in

 

DAY 3 

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Journey by train to the top of Corcovado Mountain to see the famous statue of Cristo Redentor
  • Lunch
  • Take a tour of Rio’s Beaches
  • Free time in Rio de Janeiro
  • Dinner

  • Visit a Samba School
  • Participate in a Samba lesson

  • Travel to Petrópolis
  • Visit the Imperial Museum

  • Fly to Foz du Iguazú
  • Visit the Iguazú National Park
